Turnpike crash near Stuart blocking north, southbound lanes

MARTIN COUNTY — A crash on Florida’s Turnpike near Stuart has closed two southbound lanes, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The crash was reported about 3:30 p.m. near mile marker 136, between Southeast Becker Road and Southwest Martin Highway.

Emergency workers are filtering traffic around the crash scene but delays are reported up to Becker Road, according to the Florida Department of Transportation.

Injuries were reported but no details were immediately available.

Emergency vehicles are also blocking the left northbound lane at the scene, causing northbound delays as well.
